Is this possible? ( changing a wav file to a cd-compatible format? )?

I recorded something this morning off my Mp3.. it's a sony, and I need to put it on a cd.. but it won't let me because it's a wav file. Is there a simple and easy way to change the format to be able to put it on a cd?? Help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
