How long does an indefinite award of DLA last?

I've just been awarded DLA at the middle rate care component and low rate mobility component. On my claim form it states that my award for both components is for an indefinite period, just how long is this? I'm worried they will later stop my claim as I've had a nightmare getting it all sorted out and I'm glad things are now as they should be. Thanks.
