Where in upstate New York should I try to get B&B reservations for my honeymoon/fall foliage trip?

Lake Placid in the adirondacks would be a good choice--you can tour the olympic village (home of the 1980 miracle on ice)..whiteface ski resort does scenic gondola rides, you can take a boat tour on mirror lake..also, Burlington vermont is a short drive from lake placid across the lake champlain ferry--vermont in general would be a good fall vacation spot--depending on your time you can probably do both
