I want to make a e-newsletter... tips..?

I want to make an e-newsletter i have a website that can spread the newsletter once its done but i need to turn a word doent into a html code.. so i need help and nothing that costs $$$$$ or : does anyone have any program thats free that is really easy for starting an e-newsletter! THX!
