Christians do you find the reaction of Lee Strobel's wife kind of fishy when Lee Strobel told her he converted?

I'm not a 'christian', but I do find the wife's reaction interesting. Poor ol' Lee is a total jerk and about as smart as an amoeba, but he didn't deserve being cursed at.
