Cutting loses????

i am 21. when i was at my father's house, my stepmom's best friend came over and started talking about drugs and how cool they are in front of my little bro and sis. i told her to stop and i got kicked out by my stepmom who said i had no right. my father agreed with her and its been over a year and a half, and they won't let me on the property. should i just cut my losses and quit trying to make up with them?
